Fist Records & Pictures - LINKS
Peace & Fist records and pictures is an indpendent record and film company currently based in Chicago and Minneapolis. The company was started by brothers Aaron and Nathan Lindstrom in Seattle, as a way to release, produce, distribute and integrate independent film and music projects. We are dedicated to creating quality, life long relationships with people artists filmmakers and musicians.
Bars
1. The Union - Great place to have a beer and see a band while in Madison, Wi.
2. Global Chillage - Amesterdam has alot of interesting places to have a drink, but check out Chillage.
3. English - While in Chicago, stop in for a cold beer, mini burger and a game of pool.
4. Top of the Mark - The site of a famous Hitchcock movie, go to the bar for a great view of SF.
5. John Hanncock Tower - Talking about a view, stop by the Signature Room while in Chicago.
6. Nepenthe-Big-Sur - Another great view - located on the west side of HWY 1 as you enter Big Sur, Ca.
7. Alibi Room- Hidden in an alley under the Pike Street Market, Seattle- check out the film scripts.
8. Cafe Espresso - Nice place to have a cup of coffee or a drink, Green Bay, WI.
9. Targy's Tavern - On the top of Queen Anne hill, has the feel of a great old tavern.
10. Nyes - Minneapolis Bar with a throw back to the past - grab a mic and sing along at the piano.

1. Freemans Alley - Hidden in an alley in NYC, this place will make you feel like you are out west.
2. Taste of India - Best indian food in the US - endless cups of Chai tea are a plus. Seattle, WA
3. Cafe Lurcat - Located on Loring Park in MPLS, this place has alot to look at and nice menu.
4. Crust - The only organic Pizza in Chicago, organic infused drinks and a modern design.
5. The Fox - Need a good cup of coffee, grits and side of southern hospitalty - Jacksonville, FL.
6. The Rockit - Great place to grab a drink in Chicago - check out the album cover menus.
7. Intellegensia - Best coffee in Chicago, now located in Silverlake - LA, CA. . .Try the cupcakes!
8. Cafe Ladro - Best Coffee in Seattle.
9. Monmouth Coffee - Best coffee in London ... try the location in Burrough Street Market.
10. Krolls - Can you say butter burger and Miller beer, located directly across from Lambeau Field
Music Venues
1. The Vic - This place is a great place to see a show, not a bad seat in the house - Chicago, IL.
2. Chop Suey - Seattle, Wa. - best place to see a big band in a small space.
3. Show Box - Keep your eyes out for home town grunge heros. Seattle, WA.
4. Jack Rabbits - Who thought you could find such a cool club in Jacksonville, FL.
5. Sunset Tavern - Good place to see a band while in Seattle, WA.
6. First Avenue - The birth place of the Mpls music movement, AKA - Purple Rain - Prince.
7. The Double Door - While in Bucktown stop in and check out a band. Chicago IL.
8. The Fillmore - This is a club that has been around for a while, repeat after me "Jimi Hendrix". SF CA.
9. The Emp - Museum and music club dedicated to Jimi Hendrix.
10. Bottom of the Hill - San Francisco's music club it's not the Fillmore but it is worth stopping by.

1. The Fading Collection - Former Electric Ottoman band mate, Sarah McCulloch's new project.
2. Ferdinand Fox - A very dramtic band I saw in Chicago, these guys seem to have a fun time.
3. Eddie Mac - This is the hardest working band in MPLS.
4. Blonde Red Head - Check out the new record, two Italian twins and great female vocals. A +++
5. Pearl Jam - Maybe the best live band out there, if you haven't seen the band since 10 -you should.
6. Mad Season- Mike McCreedy's side project with Lane Staley.
7. Chris Ballew - Former president of the USA, check out his band The Giraffes.
8. Tuatara - Side project of REM guitarist Peter Buck and other great Seattle muscians.
9. Well Water Conspiracy - Matt Cameron's side project - see them live.
10. Wandering Sons - These guys are worth seeing live - Americana / alternative - blues.
11. Elysian - Kurt is a true rock and roll icon - this is what the velvet underground was trying to create.

1. Levels Audio - Masterd the first Electric Ottoman project.
2. Avatar Studio - Site of alot of great projects including a few David Bowie Records. New York City
3. Abbey Road - Not much else to say - Beatles. London England. - UK
4. Studio Litho - Studio owned by Stone Gossard - The First Electric Ottoman Record was recorded here.
5. Smart Studio - Butch Vig's studio, located in Madison Wi. Mastered the Cup o' Joe Trip Record.
6. Sleepless Nights - John Machnik is a good guy call him for a studio tour - Madison, Wi.
7. Orbit Audio - Located in Pioneer Square Seattle WA - Mixed the Electric Ottoman - Myopia Record.
8. Sun Studio - This is most likely where american rock and roll started. Elvis, Jonney Cash, Roy Orbison.
9. Phillips Recording - The new studio opened by Sam Phillips son - Knox Phillips.
10. Pachyderm - Located in Minnesota, lots of great albums where recorded here.
